Testimonials

Scott O'Malley started my 3yr old filly Zamora in 2004
His "brief " was for her to become a 'user friendly horse for small ladies"
We were extremely pleased with the results.
Zamora is a pleasure to handle and is competing successfully as a dressage horse.
I have also had Scott's help in handling several other young horses that I have breed and he is currently starting another horse of mine called Rastas.

" We have entrusted two horses to date to Scott and we always take confidence in the fact the horses are always individually cared for and their training routine is tailored to their unique character. Ground work is correctly established before anything else resulting in a respectful, obedient and happy athlete giving us the base to continue our horses career in any arena. The first horse Scott started in for us had success on a national level in the four and five year old young dressage horse classes. Our third young horse is ready to go to Scott and we can't wait to start the new partnership under saddle. Scott always considers new ideas from all riding disciplines, methods and training systems and always takes into account the owner/riders future plans for the horse. What has been most beneficial as a rider is Scotts availability after the horse completes its initial schooling, he is always there to help out with the next few years in a young horses training. Obviously we thoroughly recommend Scott as a talented horseman. "

We have known Scott for over 3 years now and he has started 6 of our horses under saddle. In my opinion, you could not get a more professional horseman to give your pleasure or competition horse the correct start for its ridden future.

Scott encourages you to become a part of your horse’s education, showing you what he does, how he does it and why. These tools are certainly the building blocks for your horse’s future. You know that when your horse comes home, it will be free of any issues, has been extremely well handled and has had to deal with most things that could be potentially thrown at it in the future – basically as bombproof as a green horse can be. When you think you have plenty of horse sense already, you can see that by doing it Scott’s way and with his simple and understandable techniques the difference it makes compared to the more traditional way of a horse being handled or broken in.

Not only has Scott started our horses under saddle with more going his way shortly, he has also worked with some of our young stock giving them some well needed basic education and floating lessons – he certainly makes my life so much easier!!

I really can’t recommend Scott enough. Young, old, difficult, horse’s with issues – Scott O’Malley is the person to send them to.
